The question you really should be asking your Estate Agent

The question you really should be asking your Estate Agent

When it comes to selling your home, most people ask estates agents to value their property, but are you brave enough to ask them what do I need to do to sell my home?

Posing this question unlocks a series of conversations which will allow you to move on much quicker and will unlock the true value in your home.

The honest and frank conversation that this question leads to means that small, relatively inexpensive changes can lead to significant changes in the saleability of your property. Selling homes for clients over the years, we know that removing a much loved red carpet from an entrance hall will instantly make your property more appealing to buyers, we can also see all your wonderful family photographs that you have throughout your home which you’ve become blind to, need to be loving packed away ready for your new home, well before the first viewing is booked.

Adjustments in furniture layout and inexpensive additions to a room are the important details that will make your property stand out from the crowd.

I was speaking to a lovely lady the other day and she referred to her ‘Instagram Life’ when she shared with me the pictures that she was referring to I could see that in essence this was her dream life.

Embracing the effect that social media has on our buying decisions today and making your home part of someone’s ‘Instagram Life’ doesn’t mean that you need to overhaul your property before putting it up for sale, but it does make getting great advice even more important.

So unlock the true value of your home by getting the right advice.

Until next time
